As a child I was a big fan of National Geographic magazines, I’d spend hours pouring over their amazing photography, always wondering how the shots were made, looking close into the eyes of the subjects to find clues of what type of light was used - a big soft light or small and harsh with a grid? This hunger for knowledge has never left me. I have now been taking photographs professionally for over 20 years yet I have never rested on my laurels, I’m still chasing perfection and more importantly, I’m still learning human behaviour. I think that’s the secret to many of the shots I capture, It’s knowing when to wait, when to move, reading people, anticipating their expression or perhaps causing their expression then being technically ready for it.

It’s no matter whether it’s an Asian wedding, Barmitzvah or 80th birthday, the fundamental of the event is the love between people, my endeavour is to capture the emotion so that you can re-live those feelings later. So far I’m winning.

I owe thanks to my followers for their continued support.
